Description

A little fun in the kitchen this morning...

A raw egg yoke in a glass of water against a black backdrop and lit from the side with a tungsten lamp. In photoshop, I adjusted the levels to achieve a pure black background. The glass itself is clear and then red/orange toward the bottom--hence the illusion that the glass dissappears halfway up.

Camera: Sony DSC-F717
Focal Length: 12mm
F-Number: F-8
Shutter Speed: 1/30 sec
ISO: 100
Metering Mode: Pattern
Exposure Compensation: 0

Thanks for viewing. C/C welcome.

Such a great idea. I was like what the heck issss that! It's really colorful...and I love the bit of the egg white that is dancing up on the right. Gives a nice feeling ot fluidity. Good work!

Wow that’s a cool shot! I love the colors and the ambiance on the egg in the liquid. Though I must ask the same question as Alleggra asked, “What the heck is that” in? It looks like watered down Coke or Birch Beer.
