Description

The construction company for which I work is in the process of building its new headquarters near Grand Rapids, Michigan. I took this shot just last week. What you see here is the centerpiece of the new facility, a 120 ft. by 52 ft. structural steel cantilever (the largest in the United States), within which the offices will be located. In the spring I’ll be able to post a picture of the finished building.

Spit tone effect applied in Photoshop.

I’ve attached also a color version of the structure taken from a slightly different perspective.

Thanks for viewing. C/C welcome.

Simply stunning tonal work. Darn... I love that :)

The angle works well and makes this motif interesting and does give it
a life of its own. Well done!

Proabably one of the best before and after shots you are likely to see...waiting for the after shot of course.

i guess there will have to be a big sign in that building. "NO SUDDEN MOVEMENTS IN THE OUTER END, NO MORE THAN 2 PEOPLE AT A TIME"

the angle makes me dizzy as if i'm really there, the same position and about to faint. alone, giving this feel makes it a very successful shot already (: kudos w 9/9 from me here ;D
