A good capture. I'd guess from the slight halo around the bird that shadow/highlight tool was used to bring out some details in the black. Good capture of the eye. These are not easy to expose for and you did well. They are a very common bird in late spring at the wildlife area I spend quite some time at. A very loud and curious bird
